Interesting. It works for me and no one else who has used it has complained so far (except you). Make sure it is the latest version (previous are now broken because of Rakuten). Test with reinstalling the addon and setting it up again.

ok so I went and installed all the optional dependencies and tried again. it works now not sure which one did it.

The vikir Addon for kodi dont loading subtitles. Kodi version 19
